You know how much I love Citrus Lane. All of my past reviews have been complete raves about the boxes, and this month I think I am voicing my first criticism.
First I want to say that I do love the boxes in general this month. They are a good value, and have amazing products.
My issue is below.
THIS is my box for a 29 month old female
On to the value of the box. Citrus Lane costs $21 a month, and as you can see it is not sample, but full sized items. They often add a sample (or sometimes full sized item) for Mamas. You can save $10 on your first box by clicking HERE and applying code: 10MONTH to your order! That is only $11 for your first box!
Items I received:
- Oball.Amazon value: $4.89
(Boy box received a blue/ green; Girl box received a rainbow ball)
- 4.5 oz Ella's Kitchen Cheesy Potatoes. Amazon value: $1.69
(same in both boxes)
- Munchkin Toddler Dip Dish. Amazon value: $4.99
(Boy box received blue; Girl box receive pink)
- I Can Do It Too book. Amazon value: $9.99
(Both boxes had the same book)
- 3 oz Baby Ganics Lotion (same as last month). Amazon value: $3.99
(Boy Box received a healing ointment--the younger box; Older girl box received a lotion)
- 1 oz DHC Deep Cleaning Oil. Amazon per oz value: $2.83
(Same in both boxes)
So, especially with the coupon code (and even without it), the box is well worth what you pay. However, I feel that ordering 2 boxes a month-- even for different genders and ages-- may result in getting 2 similar items every month. If you order only 1 box a month, you are going to be THRILLED. If you receive 2 or more boxes a month, you may receive similar items.
