Nature's Flavors Food Coloring Review

We are happy to bring you this recipe and review of Nature's Flavors Food Coloring. We received a sample of the food colorings to experiment with and we had a great time!

One of my favorite things to make is cookies! My kids love sugar cookies, but I hate the frosting you buy in the store! To thick for cookies for me! So we make our own!

Making frosting or a glaze for your cookies is so simple. Take a bowl and put about 1 cup of powdered sugar in it (this depends on how much you will need). Then gradually add a little water until you have your desired thickness. We like to have a nice, thin, almost "glaze" of sugar on our cookies, so ours is not very thick at all. THEN add a food coloring, like the ones from Nature's Flavors! We loved these food colorings because they are organic and safe to eat for your little ones (no nasty food dyes or chemicals!). And the more you add, the darker the color so if you want red, add a lot. For pink, add very little. Mix the powdered sugar, water, and food coloring and apply to your cookies with a butter knife.

Yummy cookies with yummy frosting!
