We love the awesome book Top 100 baby purées by Annabel Karmel. This simple apple purée recipe tells us specific cook time (for those still learning in the kitchen like me!)
We tripled the recipe:
2 apples, cored, peeled, and chopped
2 tablespoons water or apple juice
steam in large pan for 4 minutes or until soft
Blend as you prefer
I've never made baby food but plan on it with this one. Didn't realize how easy it was but you just made this look so simple. :)
