Good Hands for Good Life

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Allstate for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

As a busy mom, I KNOW how hard parenting can be! We all face many challenges each and every day-- and so do our kids. This year was a challenging year for my daughter who is now entering into 5th grade. She really struggled, for the first time, with some of the material and constantly got discouraged. I believe these are such teachable moments. I always remind her that as a family, there is nothing that we cannot overcome. If we work together, we can accomplish anything-- and this is something she reminds me of as well! Whenever we have a hard task ahead, she reminds me that we can figure it out together, as a family. She successfully completed her 4th grade year with high Bs and As, and I am so proud of her! She is moving on to 5th grade and can celebrate her accomplishment!
This morning, when I dropped the kids of at "Kids Camp" there was a note saying they should bring their bikes-- today! I just wanted to crawl back into bed! My kids only go to Kids Camp 3 days a week, so we did not see the note yesterday, and I did not even know HOW to get the bikes into the car. I tried unsuccessfully to get them into the back of the car, with no luck. I was ready to give up-- so I called my husband who was at work. He did not answer my call, so I tried one more time-- and this time it all worked out. Isn't that what life is all about-- just trying one more time? The truth is, we all want a Good Life, but often we stand in our own way with fear and doubt in ourselves! We need to overcome that fear and doubt and enjoy all of the amazing things that come our way! We can say at the end of the day, "I CAN do it and I WILL!"
