I have been buying filters and water pitchers for a while, but my problem was this. You are supposed to put a little "change" calculator on the filter or pitcher that tells you when to change it. Have you ever wondered how they KNOW the time to change it? The sticker just gives a time. Apparently you change it after so many weeks. This really makes an assumption about use, quality of water, that your children do not beat it to a pulp first (maybe that is just my children). I always felt that I was either changing the filters to soon or too late, to be honest I never really KNEW!
Welcome to the new age of Water Pitchers-- welcome to Mavea Elemaris!
Mavea is like no other water pitcher. It measures how much of the water filter remains. No guessing, not assumptions, just a clear percentage on the top of our pitcher. The more you use it, the less percentage that remains until it needs to be replaced.
It also has a very unique filling system. A flap open and closes, which means that filling it is so much easier!
The Elemaris comes in different colors as well. As you can see, we received the red.
The water was crisp, clean, and met my water snob standards. The best part is, my kids like it, so they actually drink water as well!
100% of the Mavea Maxtra filters are recyclable and it is BPA free!
MamaBreak received a pitcher so that we were able to review it here on MamaBreak. MamaBreak did not receive any other type of compensation for this review. As always, our opinions and experiences are our own.
